Warehouse Associate

Role overview

You’ll support warehouse operations through shipping, receiving, cycle counting, order picking, production order processing, logistics support, equipment maintenance, and inventory accuracy.

What you’ll do

  • Keep warehouse inventory and work areas clean, organized, and accurate.
  • Follow warehouse procedures for quality and accuracy.
  • Process incoming shipments using business system software.
  • Verify purchase order accuracy and place items in the proper storage locations.
  • Prepare customer shipments accurately and on time.
  • Perform daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage stock locations, storage methods, and item identification.
  • Pick sales orders, production orders, and transfers on time.
  • Inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damage.
  • Package shipments properly for final delivery.
  • Coordinate LTL shipments and daily UPS/FedEx pickups and deliveries.
  • Pick production order components ahead of assembly schedules.
  • Support timely invoicing by managing open deliveries.
  • Perform routine warehouse equipment maintenance.
  • Work with the warehouse lead to support customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.

What you’ll need

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • Good verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Punctual and dependable work style.
  • Problem-solving ability and personal initiative.
  • Ability to work well with a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to learn inventory software.
  • High attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained.

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move objects weighing 5 to 100 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing.
  • Frequent use of hands for typing, handling objects, and reaching.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and listen actively.
  • Ability to pass a visual acuity exam.
